Real name: Jerome White, Jr.
Graduate from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in information science; taught at an eikaiwa (English conversation school) in Wakayama prefecture in Japan after graduation, and debuted as an enka singer in Japan in 2008 with the single "
Umiyuki" (海雪,
Ocean Snow).
Ethnicity/Heritage: His mother is half-Japanese, his grandmother is Japanese.
Languages: English (native)... and at least some Japanese; he studied abroad for 3 months in Japan in the Kansai region.
He says he sings enka for his late grandmother, and that he grew up listening to it; however, his dream seems to have been born while studying abroad (for three months).
Born in 1981, he's 26 years old.. but I think he looks younger!
